American Brotherhood Weekend this weekend

CHICAGO — Our 28th year promises to have yet another reason to visit Chicago in October. another family reunion that you have all come to love. Stay tuned as more will follow.

Event Schedule at a Glance (Subject to change)

Friday 10/6

5:00-10:00 pm Registration for participants at Touché: Join us for a pre event cocktail as you register. As guest arrive this starts to really turn into a fun afternoon pre Opening Party/Party.

8:00-11:00pm Opening Reception/Contestant Introductions: BLUF and ABW Present a Uniform Opening night Reception and Meet and Greet at Touché

The weekend’s opening reception will be held at Touché our host bar for the weekend. BLUF is joining us to make it a fun Uniform party. This is your opportunity meet all the contestants/judges and visiting dignitaries. So put on your uniform and come join us as we welcome all our new and returning family members.

10:00pm Contestant Introductions Begin

9 p.m. – 2 a.m. – last scene must start before 1.a.m. Dungeon Space at LRA

Address will be provided at the event and it is open to all weekend package participants. We are happy to have them as a returning sponsor and offering us this space on the weekend

Saturday 10/7

Eye Openers 11:00am-1:30pm and Continental Breakfast at Touché for all participants

How about a Bloody Mary or Screwdriver or a cup of coffee with your continental breakfast…Join us for registration and pick up some good old vintage ABW teeshirt or other items

1:30pm till 5:00pm First Day of American Brotherhood Contest

Show begins at 2pm.

The Leather Archives and Museum is our host for the afternoon where we will put our contestants through the first day of their competition with even a view of the interviews with a portion of the contest we call ” Pull back the Leather Curtain” of course there will be Formal Speech, Hot Wear, and Fantasy portions of the contest as well as some basket auctions to raise funds for the travel fund. Come see what great members of our coummunity have done and can do, and join in the fun of our weekend.

Your evening is open and their are several event happening hosted by others to take advantage of those that have traveled to Chicago for our weekend.

5:00pm-5:00am Touché Chicago Featuring Dungeon Master night with an SM Demo at 10pm in the Club Room

8:00pm-10:30pm Touché Chicago Special add on event as a Benefit for Vital Bridges Northside Pantry $10 for package holders $20 for non package holders…..MYSTERY THEATER ABW 3000….

Don’t miss Laura Antoniou and Karen Ultra taking us through a film we all will love to see with this special sort of twisted treatement. Seating is limited and available on Event Brite as a seperate ticket

Sunday 10/8

11:00-2:00pm ABW Brunch at Touché

How about a Bloody Mary or Screwdriver or a cup of coffee with your Full Brunch at ABW .All ways a favorite as we all gather and join in the final day of the weekend contest…Join us for registration and pick up some good old vintage ABW teeshirt or other items

2:00pm till 4:30pm Second Day of American Brotherhood Contest

The Leather Archives and Museum is our host for the final day of competition where we will put our contestants will finally find out who will be the next American Leather Family. With even a view of the interviews with a portion of the contest we call ” Pull back the Leather Curtain” of course there will be Formal Speech, Hot Wear, and Fantasy portions of the contest as well as some basket auctions to raise funds for the travel fund. You will want to be there for the final day of competition.

4:30-10:00pm or later

A celebration, at Touché. Dinner will be served this year it will be pasta, salad, meatballs, and dessert.
