Southern Illinois AIDS Coalition makes deliveries to needy families

CARBONDALE — The Southern Illinois AIDS Coalition made visits to need families in Illinois’s 19 southernmost counties on Friday for Christmas.

The group, which is dedicated to supporting low-income families impacted by HIV/AIDS in far southern Illinois. They delivered toys to families and are continuing fundraising through the end of the year.

CHICAGO — While Chicago had the largest in the state, and one of the largest in the country, sister marches to the Women’s March on Washington took place across Illinois, including traditionally conservative cities.
