While there are plenty of great parades and events throughout the region, the granddaddy of them all is the huge parade downtown in Grant Park and the annual dyeing of the Chicago River. For those looking for a more meaningful experience head to the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago-Irving Park for a day of traditional music and food.
