Having lived in Indiana when Bayh was governor, I actually like him. He is relatively conservative compared to most Democrats, but his time in office, at least as governor, he was pragmatic. He had his own stance on issues, but was willing to work and make deals to get things to work. Some people call that pandering, I call it getting stuff done.
So will Evan buck that trend? I’m hopeful, but not holding my breath. Maybe it’s something in the air conditioning at Fox headquarters.
