The Chicago Casual Traveler: DuPage Children’s Museum, Naperville, IL (DuPage County)

Destination of the Day: DuPage Children’s Museum, Naperville, IL (DuPage County)
Spring might be here, but it is still a bit chilly to have the kids, nieces, or nephews running outside (plus just too wet!). The DuPage Children’s Museum might be a great option to get them out of the house and learn a thing or two. Plus, add in a train ride on Metra, and you might be the best Mom/Day/Uncle/Aunt ever! The museum’s web site is a bit basic on exhibits and, unlike larger children’s museums, the museum does not normally have a blockbuster special exhibit. During week days and weekends the museum does offer programming.
