CHICAGO — Transgender activist and adult performer Buck Angel will be returning to Chicago with three different events across the city.

His appearances start on Monday, June 20, at Early to Bed in Andersonville.

From the event page:

Buck Angel is an award winning filmmaker and groundbreaking pornographer. He pioneered as the first transsexual man to break into the mainstream adult entertainment industry and has been fearlessly smashing the boundaries there and elsewhere ever since. EVOLUTION is a video accumulation of Buck’s career, from pornography to motivational speaker to LGBTQ activist to Human Rights activist. Buck will speak about how he has evolved and how he uses his pornography as activism to help people think outside the box of gender and sexuality.

The next day, on Tuesday, June 21, Buck will be screening his documentary “Mr. Angel” at Tulip Toy Gallery in the heart of Boystown.

Join us for a screening of Buck Angel’s award winning documentary at Tulip Toy Gallery! Q & A with Buck Angel after the screening.

“Shot over six years, Mr. Angel chronicles the extraordinary life of transgender advocate, educator and porn pioneer, Buck Angel. His in-your-face style of activism has audiences outraged by his insistence that he is ‘a man who happens to have a vagina.'”

And finally, on Wednesday, Buck will be appearing at The Pleasure Chest on Lincoln Avenue with his latest film, “Sexing the Transman.”

Pioneering filmmaker Buck Angel gives an audio-visual tour of trans male sexuality, including video interviews with a variety of trans men and the people who love them. Buck is your guide to re-defining gender and enjoying the fluidity of sexuality and individual expression of identity. We’ll explore how to affirm and acknowledge individual gender and sexuality, the effects of testosterone on trans men and how to let go of social constructs in order to become more comfortable and self accepting.
