CHICAGO — Daddy Jeff Woods, 55, passed away after a heart attack on February 11, 2017.
Jeff was a long time member of the Chicago community, donating countless hours of his time to local charitable organizations and events. His southern charm and warm laughter were bright spots in the lives of all those he touched, and his presence will be deeply missed.
He was Illinois LeatherSir 2013 and music producer for the Illinois Leather Alliance. Despite the title, he was known as Daddy to many in the Chicago and regional leather communities. He was known to always be willing to offer a friendly ear, advice or kink education. He was also an active supporter of the Chicago Leather Club and a former member of LRA-Chicago. Jeff is survived by his husband Tom Wray.
A memorial service was held at the Leather Archives and Museum on Monday, February 13. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Jeff’s name.
