CHICAGO — Illinois Leather Alliance Weekend was jam packed with interviews, classes and shenanigans.
The contest weekend kicked off with the ILA Meet and Greet at Touché on Friday, March 17th. The Meet and Greet allows the contestants to introduce themselves to their audience and contest judges. This year, there were five contestants total: three Puppies, one Trainer, and one Illinois Ms. Leather Pride.
Saturday, March 18th, the afternoon kicked off with a series of workshops and classes held in the club room at Touché. Contestant interviews were hosted alongside the classes in the main bar. The interviews were open to the public and allow judges and contest patrons to get to know the contestants more intimately.
Saturday evening brought the final contest, involving a fantasy from the Ilinois Ms Leather Pride contestant, Daddy Sky, and special Pup Play categories for the Puppy contestants and Trainer.
The final winners for Illinois Puppy 2017 are Pup Xolox, Illinois Trainer 2017 Daddy Eos, and Illinois Ms. Leather Pride Daddy Sky. These state title holders will feed into the regional contest, Great Lakes Leather Alliance, the weekend of September 28-October 1st.
