Touché celebrates 40 years

CHICAGO — Chicago’s oldest leather bar Touché is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this week.

The bar kicked off the celebrations on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the bar itself. The bar had drink prices from 1977, a performance from Sharon McKnight, a buffet and birthday cake.

The celebration will continue through the weekend.

*Thurs. Nov. 2- Mr. Midwest Rubber/Mister International Rubber Kickoff- welcome to all the rubbermen as Mr. International Rubber weekend gets underway! Wish #MWR2017 Pup Link luck as he prepares to run for MIR this weekend.

*Fri. Nov. 3- Clubs- Leather/kink clubs past and present, we celebrate you! For 40 years Friday Night at Touché has been Club Night at the bar. Tradewinds, The Cossacks, Chicago MOB and Chicago Circle hosted regular nights in the beginning to M.A.F.I.A. and ONYX now. All club members in their colors will receive discounted drinks and the men in M.A.F.I.A. are lending a hand (as you may expect from them) It wouldn’t be a club night at the bar without some kind of raffle.

*Sat. Nov. 4- Bears- A extra special Full Moon Anniversary edition of the monthly Bear Night.

*Sun. Nov. 5- Bartenders & Staff- come by and recount the days from Lincoln Avenue to the late nights and early mornings on Clark Street with Touche’s bartenders past and present.
