CHICAGO — An exhibition of works by photographer inkedKenny opens on Friday, Jan. 26, in the Guest Artist Gallery at the Leather Archives & Museum.

Refreshments will be served.

For the exhibition, called “MEN as seen through the lens of inkedKenny”, the photographer has selected a range of his erotic/fetish photography from the last several decades, a cross-section of black-and-white and color images that highlight male sexual energy and identity.

“Art goes levels deeper. Art inflames, incites, sparks conversation and debate. Art hits you in the brain pan, the heart, the gut and the crotch, and when it’s really good, it can do it all at the same time in the milliseconds it takes for you to draw breath to gasp at its insolence…its magnificence,” inkedKenny said in the release.

inkedKenny, who lives in Canada, has a long career in photography including fetish, style and fashion photography. He’s worked with companies such as Macy’s, Nordstrom’s, Nike and Levis and photographed celebrities like Sandra Bernhardt and Carrie Anne Moss. He’s also worked with Cirque de Soleil, the Toronto International Film Festival and Northbound Leather.

The exhibition will run through June 7. Entrance to the exhibit is included with the Archive’s admission fee. LA&M hours are  Thursdays and Fridays, 11 AM to 7 PM; Saturdays and Sundays, 11 AM to 5 PM.
