NORMAL — “A Dying Breed” by Ianne Fields Stewart will have its world premiere in a performance hosted by Coalescence Theatre Project and the Prairie Pride Coalition on Sept. 8 at the Normal Theater in Normal.
From the Facebook event:
Coalescence Theatre Project is pleased to announce our production of the World Premiere of A Dying Breed by Ianne Fields Stewart September 8th and 9th at 3:00 pm and 7:30pm at the Normal Theatre.
Presented by Coalescence Theatre Project along with Prairie Pride Coalition and Normal Theater, A Dying Breed, powerfully written by up and coming New York storyteller and Illinois Wesleyan Alum Ianne Fields Stewart, offers a chilling window into a not to distant authoritarian future. Five unlikely characters are thrown together in an attempt to find shelter, survival and hope in a world closing in on them. A Dying Breed dynamically explores the nature of family and power in a world of extremes. Asking what each of us might do to survive.
A Dying Breed will be directed by Joe McDonnell and will feature Jennifer Cirillo, Kyle Fitzgerald, Kat Gregory, Joseph Kirby and Darraugh Quiseng Griffin. Tickets are available in advance at normaltheatre.com or at the door. A reception for Ianne Fields Stewart will be held at the University Gallery on Saturday the 8th between performances.
You can get the schedule of performances at the Facebook event at at Coalescence Theatre Project.
