PEORIA — The River City Bears of Peoria are holding their annual Central Illinois Bear contest this weekend at Blondies in Peoria.
The contest is open to guys throughout Central Illinois including Peoria, Bloomington, Galesburg, Springfield, Decatur and Champaign/Urbana.
People can enter in either the Bear portion or the Cub portion. The winners will go on to the Illinois Bear Contest in Chicago next February.
The judges are:
- Bradley Tobias – The night manager at Leather64TEN leather store in Chicago and is Best Boy for the Mr.Leather64TEN Contest.
- Tj Howard – Mr Leather64Ten 2017 and member of the Titans of the Midwest leather service club.
- Gregory Raymond – Mr. Heartland Bear 2017 and member of the Show Me Bears of St. Louis.
- Slade Travis – Mr. Fetish Jackhammer 2016 and the Leather Advisor to the Windy City Imperial Court.
- Adam Drake – Director of music education at Quest Charter Academy.
The talleymasters are Brandon Gentry, Mr. Fetish Jackhammer 2018, and Mark Lasswell, past president of the River City Bears and chairperson for the Peoria One Voice, the Central Illinois LGBT+ Alliance.
The special guest entertainer is Miss Flo NoMo’. Miss Flo NoMo’ (Trevor Neff) has a back ground in theater and love to be on stage entertaining the masses. If she isn’t out and about hosting charity events and making you laugh then she is trying to figure what it means to be a pageant queen. She has already figured it out once. Miss Flo is the current reigning Miss Gay Peoria USofA 2017.
