BLOOMINGTON — The Prairie Pride Coalition (PPC) put together a display at the Bloomington Public Library on Monday for the month of October.
The group said that this year’s display highlights the LGBTQ books that are often banned or challenged at local library. All of the books PPC listed, however, are available at the Bloomington library. The display will be up through the month.
The Illinois Eagle is a community e-newspaper covering the LGBTQ communities of Central Illinois, plus news of fandom and politics. The mission of the Eagle is to serve as a forum and voice for these communities at the local level and to inform the community of events and issues across the state.
