CHAMPAIGN — The Native American House at the University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana is hosting an artist talk at the Women’s Resource Center on Friday, Nov. 2.

Ryan (Lac du Flambeau) is a multi-disciplinary two-spirit artist completing their BFA in studio arts at IAIA, their work focuses on the intersections of culture, gender and sexual identity. They are a fashion photographer for Native Max Magazine and were selected as the designing artist for Eighth Generations latest blanket design. Ryan will present on their work and the background of We Define Ourselves. Lunch will be served. This event is presented by NAH, LBGT Resource Center, Diversity Education, and Women Resources Center as part of the Lunch on Us series. Ryan’s work will be up October 9th – November 30th.

The Women’s Resource Center is at 616 E. Green St. Suite 202 in Champaign. The talk begins at 11:30 a.m.
