MTUG raises more than $25k in telethon

ST. LOUIS — The Metro Trans Umbrella Group (MTUG), an organization to support transgender people in the whole St. Louis metro area, announced on Facebook that they raised $25,166 in their telethon.

This was the second year MTUG held a telethon and the first with St. Louis community radio station KDHX.

MTUG’s mission is to bring together the community of trans, gender queer, androgynous, intersex & our allies in the St. Louis metro area through community, visibility, advocacy, and education, including MetroEast.
