More possible measles cases in Champaign County

CHAMPAIGN — WICS/WCCU in Champaign reported Thursday that there were four more possible measles cases in Champaign County.

From WICS/WCCU:

According to the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District, lab results are pending for four new local cases for people who believe to have measles symptoms.

One of those is considered atypical because it’s not clear if the symptoms were developed from getting the vaccine or exposure to the disease.

This comes after the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District confirmed four measles cases in the area on Sunday.
