The celebration, a festival, is one of the older ones in the state. MetroEast Pride said they had a conservative guess of 12,000 people coming to the event.
There was something for everyone. Vendors lined Main Street and concerts were held all day on the main stage. The Community Service Awards were given out and there was the annual High Heel Drag Race & Drag Show.
A kids zone featured an inflatable slide, bounce house, obstacle course and basketball nets.
