Police ID a fourth trans woman killed in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City man has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a transgender woman.

Kansas City CBS affiliate KCTV reported on Wednesday that the man shot the woman then waited for police to arrive. The station said this was the fourth killing of a trans woman this year in the city.

Brianna “BB” Hill of Kansas City was killed around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, KCTV reported. Police are reportedly still looking for a motive.

Hill is the 21st trans woman to be killed in the U.S. in 2019.
