Cape PRIDE attends LGBTQ addiction recovery center opening

ST. CHARLES, Mo. — Cape PRIDE, organizers of the Cape Girardeau Pride celebrations, were among those attending the opening of TRUE YOU Recovery this past weekend.

Cape PRIDE said on their Facebook page that CP President Amber Moyers and volunteer Jen Racine were among those the newly opened center.

The organization described TRUE YOU as a community-built service to help LGBTQ people address the root causes of addiction, including trauma and mental health, with specialized care.

TRUE YOU is at CentrePointe Hospital in St. Charles, Mo.
