PEORIA — The 2020 HATS Fundraiser will be coming to Peoria’s Pitch Karaoke Bar on Saturday, April 4.
From the Facebook event page:
Join the University of Illinois College of Medicine’s LGBTQ+ Student Alliance in our annual HATS (HIV, AIDS, Treatment, and Support) Fundraiser!
This fundraiser helps to support Positive Health Solutions (PHS).
PHS is a local Peoria clinic that provides comprehensive care and services to those living with HIV/AIDS in not only Peoria but also 14 surrounding counties in central Illinois. The clinic provides exemplary medical care to over 600 clients while also applying a holistic approach in its case management and mental health services.
To help us raise money for this awesome cause, come to Pitch Karaoke Bar on Saturday, April 4th from 7PM – 10PM! Miss Flo as well as other local Peoria drag queens will be entertaining us all night! We will be selling wristbands for $10, which gives you access to a beer keg at the bar. We will also be raffling a TON of cool prizes to raise money as well, so be sure to bring cash for tickets ($1 each, or $20 for an arm length of tickets)! **Make sure to bring cash to participate in the fun!!**
Last year we raised over $1,100 to support PHS, and we are ambitiously increasing our goal to $2,000 this year! We can’t do achieve this goal without your help, though!
We are so excited to put this event on for yet another year, and can’t wait to see you there!
