DECATUR — The owners of a Springfield Chick-fil-A franchise will be coming back for more pop-ups after a strong response to one this past week.

According to the Herald & Review of Decatur, hundreds lined up for chicken sandwiches last Thursday.

Chick-fil-A is also notorious for the anti-LGBTQ views of its founders.

Michael Wade, one of the franchise owners, told the newspaper that they would be returning for weekly pop-ups at least through the end of summer.
