OWENSBORO — A second public forum for a fairness ordinance in this western Kentucky county is tonight.
The Owensboro Times online newspaper reported that tonight’s forum will be at Brescia University’s Taylor Hall at 6:30 p.m.
The forum is being hosted by the Daviess County Fiscal Court, the equivalent of an Illinois county board.
The Times reported that after this public forum, no public comments will be considered at the ordinance’s first or second readings. The first reading will likely be on for March 3 and the second reading on March 19 — both during the 5 p.m. Daviess County Fiscal Court meeting.
Doors open at 6 p.m. to allow time for speakers to sign in, according to the newspaper. The public may park in student-designated parking for this event only.
