Pride St. Louis announces COVID-19 changes

ST. LOUIS — Pride St. Louis has announced it is closing its center to public use and making adjustments in light of COVID-19.

From their Facebook post:

The health and safety of our entire community remains a top priority with Pride St. Louis, Inc. We are taking the necessary precautions to follow St. Louis City’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Therefore, effective immediately we are taking the following actions:

  • The PrideCenter will be closed for public use. This includes all groups, businesses, organizations that use The PrideCenter for meetings or events.
  • The InterPride Midwest Region 4 Conference scheduled for April 17-19, 2020 is postponed until fall 2020 or spring 2021.
  • Pride St. Louis Board meetings and PrideFest 2020 meetings will be on the same night starting in April. Board Meetings are closed to the public. However, we will continue to livestream our Board Meetings through our PrideSTL Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/pridestlouis/
  • All Pride St. Louis events, including PrideFest 2020 are still proceeding as scheduled. Changes may occur as the need arises.

We will continue to closely monitor updates and recommendations from city and local health professionals and will act accordingly.
