ISU Pride Charity Drag Show postponed

NORMAL — The annual ISU Pride Charity Drag Show, planned for March 28 at Illinois State University, has been postponed over coronavirus.

In a post on their Facebook page, ISU Pride said they were postponing the event in light of ISU President Larry Deitz’s announcements on the school’s reaction to cornavirus.

As of March 23, the university will be postponing all on-campus events with 50 or more participants until at least April 12. ISU is also closing campus housing, extending spring break and moving to online education for all classes.

The alumni reception that was planned for the fundraiser has been cancelled and refunds will be given to alumni who had bought tickets.

If your event or organization is closing because of the coronavirus, email [email protected] and we’ll get the information out.
