Illinois has 673 new coronavirus cases in one day

SPRINGFIELD — On Thursday, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced 673 new cases of coronavirus disease.
IDPH also announced seven deaths; a man in his 50s, two men and two women in their 60s, a man in his 70s, and a woman in her 90s.
With cases appearing in Franklin County in southern Illinois and Tazewell in central Illinois, coronavirus has impacted 35 counties.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 2,538 cases, including 26 deaths. The age of cases ranges from younger than one to 99 years.
