PADUCAH — The Paducah LGBT Welcome Center announced on Wednesday that the Western Kentucky Pride Festival has been postponed.
Originally planned for the weekend of May 29, it will now be held on October 9 – 11.
In a press release, the center said that the event will still take place at Carson Park in Paducah. Vendors, entertainers, and sponsor spots are still available and they will work with everyone who wants to attend. All information regarding the festival changes will be announced on Facebook and the WWW.PADUCAH.LGBT website.
The center itself is remaining closed to the public until they are advised that they can reopen. Youth Services are available through their partnership with Centerlink and PFLAG at QChatSpace.org. They will be posting social media based activities on their Facebook page and website.
