Aurora Pride launches mutual aid network

AURORA — Aurora Pride has launched a mutual aid network to help members of the LGBTQ community during the coronavirus pandemic.
The group said on its website that the mission is to confidentially connect local LGBTQ people with the goods, services or other things that they need, but may not feel safe or comfortable requesting publicly.
This includes but is not limited to;
- Clothing
- Transition-related items (binders, gaffs, etc)
- Cosmetics
Aurora Pride said they will do their best to help if the person calling is not out yet, shy or in an unsupportive environment,. All items offered will be sent to Aurora Pride directly, and distributed by Aurora Pride directly, to preserve confidentiality and ensure the safety of all participants.
