ST. LOUIS — The Metro Trans Umbrella Group is hosting a virtual town hall on Saturday, June 6.
From the Facebook event:
Even though we’re all apart, it’s important that we’re still able to come together as a community.
We’re kicking off pride month with a virtual Town Hall (and dance party) to celebrate our community and hear from folks on how we can continue to best support them. From our food pantry to moving our support groups online, we’ve been shifting how we work to keep everyone safe while maintaining the services that many of us need now more than ever. We’re hosting this virtual Town Hall for you to ask questions, provide feedback and let your great ideas be heard – and hear back directly from our leaders, staff and board members on how things are working and how we can all move forward.
We want to hear from you! Have a question, idea or area we could improve on? Visit the link below and submit your entry for our hosts to answer during the Town Hall. In order to make sure we can address as many people as possible, we’re asking everyone to submit their questions by Thursday, June 4. And, if you won’t be able to join us live, we will be posting the full recording to Facebook and YouTube so everyone can be part of this event.

And after the town hall, stay on the live-stream to join our online dance party and celebrate pride month together.
Despite everything going on right now, we need to face this crisis as a community. Mark your calendars, share and stay safe.
