BUFFALO GROVE — Though the parade has been pushed off until next year because of coronavirus, Buffalo Grove Pride held a Pride Drive this past Sunday.
According to the Daily Herald of Arlington Heights, 94 homes signed up to be stops on a driving tour for the community.
The drive also shifted, a little, to take into account the Black Lives Matter protests going on across the country. Signs saying “Black Lives Matter” were common on the drive and a part of the proceeds from the drive are going to Brave Space Alliance, a Black and transgender-led community center on Chicago’s south side. Other proceeds went to food banks in nearby Wheeling and Vernon Hills.
