The purpose of this conference is to educate the HIV workforce in Illinois on the HIV prevention research pipeline in terms of new drugs and modalities. The webinar will also introduce participants to research around multi-purpose technologies that can prevent HIV, unwanted pregnancy and viral STIs. And it will feature a panel of local volunteers who participated in the study that showed a long acting injectable drug could prevent HIV.
