LGBT Chamber of Commerce announces October events


CHICAGO — The LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois has announced their events for the next month.

  • Sexual Harassment Prevention Training – Oct. 13, 9:45am 
    This workshop covers the definition of sexual harassment, state and federal laws, governing harassment in the workplace, and the workplace policy and internal complain process for sexual harassment. Additional key learning points are identifying unacceptable workplace behavior, methods for addressing harassment if it happens and managerial responsibilities. 
  • LGBTCC 2021 Open House – Oct. 13, 5:30pm 
    Join the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois at their annual Open House. The Open House allows current and prospective members, partners, and community stakeholders to hear a recap of 2020, and a glimpse of 2021 engagement. 
  • Young Professional Mixer – Oct. 15, 5:30pm 
    Join the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois Young Professionals group as they come together for their final event of 2020. In this conversation,there will be opportunities for introductions, as well as highlights of nonprofit organizations. Guests are encouraged to attend this event to learn about nonprofits where their talents can be used as a volunteer. 
  • PRIDE ERG Roundtable – Oct. 22, 1pm 
    Join the LGBT Chamber of Commerce at their annual PRIDE ERG Roundtable to engage and network with PRIDE ERG leaders from Chicago’s leading corporate companies. The workshop is limited to no more than 2 representatives per company, where they will get access to networking, professional development, and get strategy to implement 2021 activities.
