HARRISBURG — Saline County had its first Pride Caravan this past weekend.
Brad Bolin, one of the organizers, said about 30 people took part in the caravan, which followed a route in the county seat of Harrisburg.
“It was an empowering experience,” Bolin said. “Being in my hometown, feeling like there is inclusivity and solidarity in this group. The way the event was conducted. It was well planned, it terms of the rules that were set up. There was a stark contrast between this event and others (Trump rallies) that took place that day. Of course, the message of love and inclusion carries a different tone.”
