CARBONDALE — The Rainbow Café LGBT Youth Center is starting a new group, Elevate, at their new space, Suite H.
From Rainbow Café’s Facebook post:
Hey all! Rainbow Cafe’s newest group, Elevate, is meeting this Saturday (November 7th) at the Rainbow Cafe’s new space, Suite H, at 2 pm! We’ll be having Maggie Degen, former Jackson County Public Defender, present legal protections and rights to Southern Illinois queer young adult youth between the ages of 18 to 25! Come and join us – boxed lunches from Cristaudo’s will be available (no charge) , plus the chance to hang out and meet cool new people!
Suite H is a large, open space where we can effectively socially distance, keeping the garage door open with additional ventilation, and masks are required and will be provided.
Due to COVID restrictions, we are limiting attendance to 10 people, which are on a first come, first serve basis via our sign-up sheet linked below. If our sheet fills up, please put your name and info in the alternative slots to be put on the waiting list in the event someone else can’t make it. We hope to see you there!
You can sign up at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FbA1sjvgGOYiCLlvlzPV-tTWLy-X_FNO0CBV_kCpzw8/edit#gid=0. Space is still available.
