WIU to present New Music Festival virtually this year


The Western Illinois University (WIU) School of Music will present the annual New Music Festival, with performances at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 8 and at 2 p.m. and 7:30pm Tuesday, March 9.

In a press release, WIU said the performances would be on the School of Music’s YouTube Channel and Facebook pages.

New Music Festival 2021 is made possible by support from the WIU Performing Arts Society and the WIU School of Music. The festival’s directors are WIU composition faculty, Assistant Professor Hong-Da Chin and Professor James Romig.
