The Prairie Pride Coalition (PPC) and Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington-Normal announced Wednesday a partnership to provide binders, gaffs, and body shapers for transgender and non-binary people in need.
In a Facebook post, the PPC said the program would serve local youth and adults who wouldn’t be able to afford the items otherwise.
The church is offering a space for people to schedule onsite appointments to safely and privately try on the garments to find the best fit. It is limited to residents of McLean, Livingston, and Tazwell counties.
