Rainbow Café LGBTQ Center, Community Action Place provides free STI testing day

37

Join Rainbow Café LGBTQ Center and Community Action Place and get tested for various STDs and STIs, including HIV on Saturday, April 10th, 2021 from 12 pm to 4 pm! Getting testing is important in ensuring good sexual health.

One in two sexually active young people will get an STD/STI by the age of 25 and are often unaware of their status due to not showing symptoms. COVID-19 and the pandemic have only worsened sexual health and safety for our communities, barring many LGBTQ folks from being able to undergo testing for HIV and other STD/STIs. The Community Action Plan will be visiting us at Rainbow Café in order to provide HIV, HEP-C, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis testing, along with providing other resources to anyone stopping by in order to ensure sexual safety across our communities.

Drinks and snacks will be free to participants. Contact Benton Goff, Manager, at lc.ben.evans.everywhere@gmail.com for additional information.
