Pride St. Louis delaying this year’s PrideFest

The Pride St. Louis board of directors decided Friday to postpone PrideFest until June 2022.

In a press release, the organization said that with the continuing capacity and distancing restrictions due to COVID-19, they were not able to obtain the necessary permits needed to produce our annual event.

“This decision did not come easy, as we had hoped the situation would have made it possible for us to celebrate our community as in previous years,” the board said. “However, we believe it is best to start looking towards the future and prepare for PrideFest 2022.”

The group is inviting people to visit the Pride St. Louis website at www.pridestl.org and social media outlets (Facebook and Instagram) to stay informed on events this year.
