The city of Peoria will light the Murray Baker Bridge in LGBTQ Pride colors on Saturday, June 26.
The bridge carries Interstate 74 over the Illinois River, connecting Peoria to neighboring East Peoria.
In announcement on Facebook, LGBTQ organization Peoria Proud said the city had gotten a formal request to light the bridge for Pride. It will commemorate the third River City Pride Festival.
