Evansville holding River City Pride on Oct. 23


Evansville, Ind., nestled against the southeastern corner of Illinois, will hold their Pride festivities on Saturday, Oct. 23.

The city’s Pride will be a festival and parade. The organizers are welcoming venders for the festival now.

River City Pride is an organization founded to serve the LGBTQ community in Evansville Indiana and surrounding areas. It was formed as a non-profit organization in 2018. They held their first Pride event in 2019.

“River City Pride plans to host a Family-friendly, Spooky Pride Festival and Parade on Oct. 23, 2021 in Haynie’s Corner in Evansville,” said Ashley Riester of River City Pride. “We will have craft vendors, nonprofits, food trucks, local entertainment, and lots of spooktacular surprises!”
