ISU Queer Coalition to host listening circles for Transgender Awareness Week

Illinois State University’s (ISU) Queer Coalition will be facilitating two listening circles during Trans Awareness Week this year in order to foster community building with trans, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming students, faculty, and staff on campus

The circles will also give an opportunity for participants to share their experiences in a small group setting, according to a post on the ISU website. Circles will be provided with discussion questions to help guide conversations.

Listening circles will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 5 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 19, at 10 a.m. Those wishing to attend are asked to fill out the registration form beforehand. Please direct any questions to [email protected].
