The Project of the Quad Cities has opened registration for a Pride 5K Run Walk and Roll this summer.
The Pride 5K will be held in Moline on Sunday, June 12. The Project said in an announcement that the event is being intentionally created to have a welcoming atmosphere for LGBTQ people and families. It will also include a one mile Fun Run.
Registration is now open for both with early bird pricing through April 24. The registration fee for the 5K is $30, rising to $45 after April 24. The Fun Run is $15, going up to $25 in April.
