Chicago Pride Parade, Fest returning for 2022

The Chicago Pride Parade and Pride Fest are both returning for summer 2022.

The Chicago Pride Parade will be returning in June after a two-year hiatus because of COVID-19, reported last week. The parade is one of the largest Pride celebrations in the country and the largest in the state., The 2020 cancellation was its first in the 50-year history of the event.

The news site reported that the parade will step off at noon on Sunday, June 26, from the intersection of Montrose and Broadway in Chicago’s Lakeview and Uptown neighborhoods.

Chicago’s other big Pride celebration, PrideFest, is also coming back. The weekend before the parade, will be a three-day festival with vendors, parties, food and entertainers.
