Springfield PrideFest takes place tomorrow

Springfield returns to kick off the summer Pride season with PrideFest starting at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 21.

The Pride Parade starts things off at 5th and Allen in Springfield and heads north to the PrideFest site at 5th and Capitol. The festival goes on until 10 p.m.

Entertainers for this year’s event include music and drag performers. All events are at the PrideLinc Stage:

12:30 p.m. – The Deep Hollow

2:15 p.m. – Thornhill

4 p.m. – Bluewater Kings Band

8 p.m. – Designer Landscapes Drag Show

Food, merch and information vendors will also be available until at least 6 p.m. (Editor’s Note: The Illinois Eagle is a vendor for this year’s festival.) See the full list of vendors here.
