The Ottawa Family Pride Festival will hold a fundraiser with a screening of “Rocky Horror Picture Show” with a gala on Saturday, Dec. 3.
The screening will be at the VIP Roxy Theater in downtown Ottawa starting at 6:30 with the gala at the Knights of Columbus Hall afterwards.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in Rocky Horror cosplay, sing and dance, shout at the screen, and more, during the movie. Capacity will be limited to ticket holders only. The movie is rated “R”, so those 17 and under need to be accompanied by an adult. ID’s will be checked at the door, and tickets are non-refundable.
The gala will have food, cash bar, DJ, silent auction, and a few surprises. The gala is restricted to persons 21 years of age and over. ID’s will be checked at the door, and tickets are non-refundable.
All proceeds go to the Ottawa Family Pride Festival which benefits the Youth Outlook-Ottawa Drop-In Center. Those who can’t attend but still want to support can make a donation through the Starved Rock Country Community Foundation. Movie tickets are $35, gala tickets are $75. You can save $10 buying both at once. Tickets are available through the event website.
