The Phoenix Center, Springfield’s LGBTQ community center, is offering free HIV testing for World AIDS Day on Dec. 1.
The center will also be putting up a tree that will have the names of individuals who lost their battle with HIV/AIDS and those who are living with HIV/AIDS. These names will be written on red ribbons and placed on the tree.
Testing will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Phoenix Center at 109 E. Lawrence Ave. in Springfield.
To have a name placed on the tree, fill out the form here.
