The LIAM Foundation in Rockford will be moving to a new building in March 2023.
In a press release, the organization said the new space will be all theirs and more accessible for all members of the LGBTQ community.
The new office will be in midtown Rockford at 1005 5th Ave. The space will be larger and more open.
“We are so exicited to begin this new chapter for our organization,” the LIAM Foundation said in the press release. ” With this larger space, we plan to begin expanding the services we offer, events and groups we hold, and the amount of clients were are able to serve.”
The organization provides the Northern Illinois LGBTQ community with resources as well as providing educational services to a number of schools, businesses, and organizations.
With the new space, they are asking the community to help support the growth and will be starting social media campaigns in the coming months.
