The Aurora Planned Parenthood clinic is looking for more escorts.
Planned Parenthood escorts ensure that patients/clients can get into the facility, and can get from their car to the clinic without being harassed by anti-choice protesters.
Escorts do not engage with the protesters and there is very little risk. It is a volunteer position, but escorts can get swag and can also volunteer at other events with Planned Parenthood and staff tables at festivals and other community events.
Anyone can volunteer to be an escort. People under 16 years old will need parental permission.
