Due to the forecast for severe weather for Friday evening, Illinois State University will close at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Due to the forecast for severe weather for Friday evening, Illinois State University will close at 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 31, until 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 1.  

Evening events on campus are cancelled. Residence halls and dining centers will remain open to serve students. Beginning at 4:30 p.m., only weather essential personnel should report to work.  

In the event a tornado warning is issued that impacts the campus, the University will issue an ISU Emergency Alert notifying those who are on campus and in close proximity to immediately take shelter.
