Piasa Youth Alliance to hold first fundraiser

The flamingos are coming.

PIASA – The Piasa Youth Alliance is launching the first Flocking for Pride fundraiser.

With this fundraiser, people can send “flocks” of plastic flamingos to family and friends to raise money for the youth alliance. The flocks will remain in a yard for 48 hours before going to the next house.

The are multiple size flock that can be sent. They rang from small, which has a few small birds and two big ones, at $25 to all-in, which includes all 66 birds the group’s inventory, for $150.

For $10 more, the birds can be sent anonymously. With an extra $5, you can send a personalized “squak-o-gram.”

And if you want to head off a flock of flamingos, you can $25 for “insurance” to keep them out.

The flocks will be flying around throughout the month of June. Reservations will be made throughout may, but there are limited space in the flocking schedule.
