ROCKTON – The Rockton Pride Kick Off Party will be in the village’s Village Green Park on Friday afternoon.
The party starts at 4:30 in the park’s pavilion. About 150-200 are expected and people are encouraged to bring food like sandwich platters and cookies to share.
Along with food, there will be music, face painting, crown making, and a livestream of the Q&A. Follow the event page for updates as Friday approaches.
The Talcott Free Library has also released their plans on how they’ll manage the virtual event.
The Q&A has been moved to 4:30-5:30 p.m. The registration link will be added to the event page on Facebook later today.
No list of participants will be shown. Cameras and mics will be disabled and questions will only be received by the moderator.
A library card number will be required for registration—those with Talcott cards will get priority for registration, followed by Talcott residents without cards. If you do not have a library card just type N/A. There will be one link per registrant. You will not be able to reuse the link once logged in.
There is a section of the registration form for questions that can be asked of Krystal Ball.
All participants are expected to follow the library’s Patron Code of Conduct and will be expelled from the program if their behavior is not in accordance with it. There will be no warning.
People can register for the Q&A here.
